Good to know

• Fixed at 11 kW: This version is permanently limited to 11 kW and cannot be upgraded to 22 kW.
• Tax (Austria): According to the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF), company car charging reimbursement is tax-free if the amount charged can be verifiably assigned to the vehicle – the MID-certified meter and RFID provide this proof. For guidance only, not tax advice.
• On site: at least a Type A RCD (30 mA) and a miniature circuit breaker; installation and registration by an electrician. MQTT only works via Wi-Fi, Modbus TCP via LAN or Wi-Fi – neither over the mobile network.

Is MID enough or do I need Eichrecht?

MID is enough if you are documenting your own costs: company car charging reimbursement from your employer, your own company fleet. As soon as you bill charging electricity to others – tenants, co-owners, guests, customers or employees for their private cars – you need a wallbox that is compliant with Austrian and German calibration law (Eichrecht): that's what the PRO Cable ME is for.

How does my employer get the data?

Via the go-e app, the go-e Portal or your backend via OCPP; you can also see the meter reading directly on the front.

Can I pair additional RFID cards?

Yes, up to 10 locally, unlimited via the go-e Portal or OCPP. One pre-paired chip is included.

Can I charge with solar surplus?

Yes, with the go-e Controller, via OCPP, Modbus TCP, the open API or an energy management system.
