The Compleo eBOX professional cable is a 22 kW wallbox with a permanently attached 6.5 m Type 2 cable and an eCLICK module without an additional MID-certified meter. You get the same professional technology as the MID and Eichrecht-compliant models – Plug & Charge to ISO 15118-2 (from firmware 3.x), LAN, Wi-Fi and mobile connectivity with your own SIM, load balancing between several stations. Consumption is recorded by the integrated meter, which is neither MID-certified nor Eichrecht-compliant.

• Plug in and charge: 6.5 m cable permanently attached to the station – long enough whether you park forwards or in reverse.
• Consumption at a glance: the integrated meter records every charging session, available via WebConfig or your backend.
• Free choice of SIM and backend: mini SIM slot, LAN, Wi-Fi, OCPP 1.6.
• Charging without a card: Plug & Charge to ISO 15118-2 (from firmware 3.x, with a compatible backend), otherwise RFID or backend.
• Several stations, solar surplus: load balancing between eBOXes without additional hardware, dynamic and with solar power via a Modbus TCP smart meter (e.g. Siemens PAC2200, Shelly Pro 3EM).
• Robust: IP55, IK10, −30 to +50 °C, DC fault current detection built in.

Good to know

• Integrated meter: it is neither MID-certified nor Eichrecht-compliant, so it can't serve as proof for company car cost reimbursement or for reselling charging power to others.
• To be provided on site: Type A RCD and miniature circuit breaker; 22 kW usually with the grid operator's approval.
• Setup: reliable via LAN and the WebConfig browser interface; the eConfig app now only works to a limited extent.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an MID-certified meter?

Only if you need to document the kilowatt hours charged, for example for company car cost reimbursement. In that case, choose the eBOX professional cable MID. If you resell charging power to others, you need the EKA version.

Do I need a SIM card?

Only if there's no LAN or Wi-Fi at your parking space.

Can I charge with solar surplus?

Yes, with a Modbus TCP smart meter or an energy management system.

How long does charging take?

About six hours for 60 kWh at 11 kW, about three at 22 kW – provided the car can charge at 22 kW AC.
