The go-e Charger PRO Cable ME is the version of the PRO that is compliant with Austrian and German calibration law (Eichrecht): for anyone who bills charging electricity to others – tenants, apartment owners, hotel guests, customers or employees for their private cars. MID-certified meter plus measurement and Eichrecht certification for Austria and Germany, permanently attached 6 m cable, LAN, Wi-Fi and LTE – Made in Austria.

A good fit if …

Probably not, if …

• you only need to document your own costs, for example for company car charging reimbursement – then the cheaper PRO Cable MID is all you need,
• you need 22 kW – this version stays at 11 kW.

• Eichrecht-compliant billing: MID-certified meter plus Eichrecht certification (AT, DE) – the metering holds up even when money changes hands for the electricity.
• Every charge assigned: RFID reader, app authorisation or backend.
• Triple connectivity: LAN, Wi-Fi and LTE via eSIM (free for at least 5 years).
• Central management: go-e Portal with RFID management, monitoring and billing-relevant data per station and user; OCPP 1.6 for common OCPP backends.
• Scalable: static load management without an additional device, dynamic load management and solar surplus charging via the go-e Controller, OCPP, Modbus TCP or an energy management system.

Good to know

• Billing: Eichrecht-compliant metering is one half, billing is the other – for that you need a backend. We offer Smartfuelpass by Ultima Payments or Vaylens.
• Fixed at 11 kW: permanently limited to 11 kW, cannot be upgraded.
• On site: at least a Type A RCD (30 mA) and a miniature circuit breaker, electrician for installation and registration.

Frequently asked questions

Do I really need the ME version?

Yes, as soon as you bill charging electricity to others: tenants, apartment owners or a homeowners' association, guests, customers or employees for their private cars. In Austria, meters used in commercial transactions are subject to mandatory verification under calibration law (Eichrecht). MID is only sufficient for documenting your own costs, for example for company car charging reimbursement.

Who bills the charging sessions?

Can I run several PROs on one connection?

Yes, with static load management without an additional device, or dynamically with the go-e Controller or an energy management system.

Does it also work without LAN?

Yes, via Wi-Fi or the built-in eSIM.

How long does a charge take?

At 11 kW, a car with a 60 kWh battery is full in about six hours.
