The go-e Charger PRO CABLE 11 kW offers the smart functions familiar from go-e charging stations, including PV surplus charging and charging with flexible electricity tariffs. It also supports data exchange via common communications interfaces and is ISO 15118 V2X ready* and Plug&Charge ready*. The charger can be installed and commissioned quickly, including at sites with many charging stations. Load management, open interfaces and the intelligent wall-mounting unit make the system scalable and simplify installation. The free backend enables rapid setup and management of multiple charging stations.
The go-e Charger PRO CABLE 11 kW meets the requirements in Austria for kWh-based recording and billing of charging electricity in applications such as:
- Charging in an apartment building when connected to the building's common electricity meter
- Charging a company car at home where the employer requires a MID-compliant meter
- Charging fleet vehicles, guests and visitors at a company location
- Charging at hotel car parks and other destination locations
- Charging at other semi-public car parks
Fast installation and commissioning
Compact and lightweight, the go-e Charger PRO CABLE 11 kW can be installed and commissioned quickly. Its IP66 rating makes it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The electrician mounts the wall bracket, feeds in and secures the power cable; the cable can enter from the rear, bottom or top. The charging unit is then plugged onto the mounting unit and secured. Charging is possible without further setup. An additional initial configuration via the app or the go-e backend (go-e Portal) prepares the wallbox for more specialised use cases and allows a large number of chargers to be commissioned efficiently.
The free go-e Portal supports simultaneous setup of multiple charging stations, convenient RFID management, monitoring of status and energy consumption, provision of billing-relevant data per charging station/user, and integration with other systems.
Convenient handling
The go-e Charger PRO CABLE 11 kW has a permanently attached 6 m charging cable with a Type 2 connector. It can charge virtually all common European EVs and plug-in hybrids with a Type 2 inlet. Whether the vehicle is parked forwards, backwards or to the side, the long cable provides plenty of flexibility. After charging, the cable can be stored neatly around the charger.
High manufacturing quality – Made in Austria – is designed for long service life and low-maintenance operation. Continuous updates keep the charging station up to date.
More interfaces for reliable data exchange and smarter charging
In addition to wireless data communication via Wi-Fi and mobile communications (LTE), the go-e Charger PRO CABLE 11 kW also supports wired LAN. The wallbox can additionally be controlled via digital input and output. Open API interfaces and OCPP allow integration with third-party software such as charging backends, energy-management systems, PV-surplus controls and billing systems.
Cost-effective and sustainable charging with PV surplus, flexible tariffs and bidirectional charging*
Smart functions such as the charging timer, automated PV-surplus charging and charging with flexible electricity tariffs integrated into the go-e app can help reduce charging costs and relieve the electricity grid.
On the hardware side, the go-e Charger PRO CABLE 11 kW is prepared in accordance with ISO 15118 for V2X functions*, including Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Vehicle-to-Home (V2H), often referred to as bidirectional charging*.
Accurate charging records thanks to MID
The integrated MID-compliant energy meter enables kWh-based measurement of charging electricity, including at sites without a separate meter for the charging station. Depending on the applicable billing situation, charging energy can be allocated, billed or reimbursed. User identification and authorisation allow charging sessions to be assigned to individual users. Charged energy can be viewed in the app, via a backend and directly on the LED display integrated into the front of the charger.
Scalable load management – including large car parks
The go-e Charger provides static load management without additional hardware, enabling many vehicles to charge from the same connection while allowing individual charging stations to be prioritised. Dynamic load management can be implemented using the go-e Controller or an energy-management system connected via OCPP, Modbus TCP or an open API. Charging power is then continuously adapted to the currently available power, including PV surplus. This makes large charging installations scalable while helping to avoid load peaks and reduce costs.
Authorisation via RFID or Plug&Charge*
The charging station is configured for free charging when delivered, but authorisation can be enabled. Its integrated RFID reader supports user authentication, release of charging sessions and allocation of sessions to specific users. One preconfigured RFID chip is supplied and additional cards/chips can be added, including across multiple chargers via the go-e backend or another backend. Compatible 13.56 MHz cards can also be used. Detailed charging data is available per user and charging can also be released via the app.
The go-e Charger PRO CABLE 11 kW is ISO 15118 Plug&Charge ready*. In the future this will enable authorisation, charging release and billing without the user having to authenticate via RFID or app.
*Bidirectional charging and Plug&Charge authorisation are prepared on the hardware side and are intended to be made available later via a software update.
